Mate get yourself a good book. Frank Sepe's The Truth Program and if you want a good read and motivation, get Arnies book.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Truth-Only-Fitness-Book-You%C2%92ll/dp/1401901794/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1280413722&sr=1-1
I've been following Franks routine with some exercises of Arnies mixed in and its working. I started off on level 2 as i'd done a little training before.
I started off training 3 times a week doing a primary and secondary exercise per body part. Mon - Chest - Bench Press followed by Flys Arms - Bicep curls, Tricep pulldown Weds - Back - bent over row, followed by lat pulldown shoulders - Shoulder dumbell press followed by side raise Fri - Legs - Squat followed by leg extentions.
Do abs every time you train 3 sets of 20 of crunches and then the same for leg raises.
get a good diet.
read here too. www.muscleandfitness.com
good Luck
meddy.
